Cupping - Moxibustion -
Gua Sha - Auricular Therapy

Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, and Auricular (Ear) therapy are very common health preservation methods. These Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) external treatments work by regulating Qi and blood and clearing the meridians to achieve the goals of treating illness and maintaining health.

  • Cupping primarily improves local blood circulation and relieves muscle tension.

  • Gua Sha (Scraping) is most suitable for skin, muscle, and joint conditions; it is best for tonifying deficiencies.

  • Moxibustion is mostly used to warm the meridians, dispel cold, promote blood circulation, and unblock the meridians.

  • Auricular Therapy involves placing ear seeds on the auricle to stimulate acupoints. It has specific therapeutic effects on insomnia, vivid dreaming, motion sickness, tinnitus, gastrointestinal and digestive tract issues, bronchial issues, obesity, withdrawal symptoms, and various pain-related conditions. It is simple to perform and has no side effects.

Tian jiu is a non-thermal moxibustion method in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It involves applying herbal medication to stimulate specific skin areas and acupoints, causing localized congestion to activate "Qi," regulate the Qi and blood of internal organs, and achieve the prevention and treatment of diseases. It is a form of external therapy.

Tian Jiu is particularly effective in preventing and treating the following conditions:

Respiratory System Diseases : Allergic rhinitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic cough, and individuals with a weak constitution prone to recurring colds.

Digestive System Diseases : Diarrhea, stomach pain, anorexia (loss of appetite), and indigestion.

Locomotor System Diseases :Rheumatism and rheumatoid arthritis, frozen shoulder (periarthritis of the shoulder), neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain, etc.

At the same time, this therapy can effectively enhance the body's immunity, promote general health and physical fitness, and regulate sub-health conditions.

Tian Jiu is typically performed during July and August, as well as December and January each year. For detailed schedules, please stay tuned for website updates or call the clinic for inquiries.
